College Is More Than Studies and Parties for These Young Adults

In March 2000, the Rotary Club of Westchester was proud to oversee the chartering of a Rotaract Club at Loyola Marymount University, marking the establishment of a Rotary sponsored club at all of Westchester’s secondary schools and universities.

Rotaract, the college equivalent of Rotary, has been a great addition to the LMU campus, former Rotary Club President Jeff Marshak said.  “These students are so excited about getting involved, and I can't wait to see how they develop projects to help the community,” he added. “It's a fine group of students, and I know they will do a great job of investing their time and talent into making the community a better place."

The Rotary Club of Westchester is helping to instill the ideals of community service in our young adults at Loyola Marymount University. This club encourages college students to become active in helping their community.
